TEXARKANA, Texas – The Texas A&M University-Texarkana women's soccer team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, rolling to a 6-0 victory over Paul Quinn at Judy Kelley Morgan Field.
The Eagles wasted no time taking control, erupting for five goals in the opening 25 minutes. Brooklyn Lattier opened the scoring in the 22nd minute off a feed from Delani Chappell, before Desiree Narvaez netted back-to-back goals in the 23rd and 25th minutes, with assists coming from Lillian Miller, Lilliana Tapia, and Angela Barrio. Just a minute later, Paige Haderlie found the back of the net on a setup from Lattier to make it 4-0. Narvaez then completed her hat trick in the 29th minute off another Miller assist to cap the first-half barrage.
Lattier struck again in the 53rd minute, finishing off a pass from Miller, who tallied three assists on the day. Narvaez led the way with three goals, while Lattier added two goals and an assist.
The Eagles controlled the match from start to finish, outshooting Paul Quinn 28-8 with 23 shots on target. Layla Anaya and Makenzie Dellinger combined for eight saves to secure the clean sheet.
With the win, A&M-Texarkana improves to 5-1-1 on the season and continues its strong start to the year. The Eagles return to action on Thursday, September 25, when they travel to San Antonio to face OLLU at 1 p.m for their first conference matchup of the season.
