LSU-Shreveport rallies in second half to hand Eagles fifth straight loss

A&M-Texarkana had its halftime lead erased in the latter parts of Tuesday's conference game as LSU-Shreveport rallied for an 89-83 win at the Patterson Center, pushing the Eagles' skid to five games.

The Eagles (5-14 overall, 3-10 RRAC) led by seven at the break, but the visiting Pilots (15-4, 10-3) were able to push past with a 13-point margin in the second half.

Ajani Jamison led four Eagles in double figures with 17 points, Jeff Norment and Dezmond Washington each added 14 and Brison Waller put up 12. Norment added seven rebounds and four assists and Levelle Zeigler finished with eight points, five rebounds and 14 assists.

Tyler Washington scored a game-high 21 points for the Pilots, who also got 19 from Jordan DeCuir, 17 from Melvion Flanagan and 11 from Calvin Carpenter.

The Eagles led by as 17 in the first half and nine in the second half but the Pilots would eventually take the lead on DeCuir's three-point shot with 10:37 to play to cap a 9-0 run.
