TEXARKANA, Texas- Texas A&M University-Texarkana men's basketball hosted the Bulldogs of Jarvis Christian for their final home game of the season, which was also senior day for the Eagles. Men's Basketball honored their two seniors, Justin Davis, and Javonte Jones in a pregame ceremony.

Justin Davis delivered a career-best performance and set a new school single game scoring record, scoring 46 points to lead Texas A&M Texarkana to a 97-64 victory over Jarvis Christian on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles came out on fire, putting up 54 first-half points while shooting 58.3% from the field before the break. Davis was nearly unstoppable, hitting 10-of-15 from three-point range and finishing the night 17-of-28 from the floor.

Jarvis Christian started strong, shooting 52% in the first half, but struggled in the second, making just 23.3% of its shots as the Eagles' defense tightened. TAMUT forced 19 turnovers, converting them into 26 points.

Alongside Davis, Deovaunta Williams contributed 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Daryl Houston added 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Darius Smith came off the bench to hit four three-pointers, finishing with 12 points. TAMUT also controlled the glass, outscoring the Bulldogs 16-9 in second-chance points and getting 32 points from the bench.
