Men’s Soccer Picks Up Victory at Central Baptist

The men's soccer team scored two second half goals in today's contest to defeat the Mustangs of Central Baptist College. With the game tied 0-0 Javier Armendariz scored an unassisted goal to put the Eagles on the board first. Six minutes later Diego Picano scored with an assist from Ali Akram to extend the Eagles lead. Central's Billy Murray scored at the 82-minute mark to help the Mustangs cut into the Eagles lead, but they were unable to find the net again and lost the game 2-1.

Goaltender Seth Brown earned the win allowing just the one goal on three shots by the Mustangs.
