Men’s Soccer Conquers the Crusaders 3-1

The Eagles defeated the Crusaders from Dallas Christian College last night in a physical battle on Judy Kelley Morgan Soccer Field. The Crusaders started the game off quickly with a goal within the first eight minutes of play by Alejandro Hernandez, assist by Kevin Jacinto. The Eagles responded shortly after on a penalty kick after a foul in the box in the fourteenth minute and tied the game with plenty left to play. The Eagles would go on to score two more goals in the first have to head into half time with a 3-1 lead. 

Coming out of the break the Eagles were able to hold the Crusaders scoreless in the second half to secure a win to propel them into the start of conference play next week. 

A&M-Texarkana goals were scored by; Diego Picano (PK), Real Eguaikihide, and Dante Zavala (PK).

The Eagles are back in action in a conference opener double header this coming Thursday, September 18th. Women's Soccer will play first at 1:00 pm, and the Men to follow at 3:30 pm. The location is set for the Judy Kelley Morgan Field on the TAMUT campus.
