The Eagles took on the Generals of LSU-Alexandria this afternoon in a RRAC matchup on Generals Field in Alexandria, Louisiana. The Eagles would fall to the RRAC second ranked Generals 1-0.
Adam Sherwood of LSU-A would sink the lone goal of the game in the 13th minute of play with a cross that rattled into the goal of a defensive ricochet. Clutch saves by Eagles goalie Seth Brown would keep the Generals scoreless for the rest of the game. The Eagles would record only 4 shots on goal yet could not connect.
The Eagles are back in action at home next week on Judy Kelley Morgan Field against the Tigers of Paul Quinn. Kickoff is set for 3:30pm
