Westberry earns career win No. 50, second RRAC Pitcher of the Week award

Anna Westberry earned her second RRAC Pitcher of the Week award on Monday, after a week that saw her notch career win No. 50 with a 2-1 victory over Jarvis Christian College on Saturday.

Westberry improved to 11-1 on the season and lowered her RRAC-best earned run average to 0.80. She is the ace of an Eagle pitching staff that ranks fifth nationally in team ERA at 1.53.

The junior from Mineola, Texas is the program's career leader in games started (57), wins (50), complete games (37), innings pitched (408) and strikeouts (385).

The sixth-ranked Eagles (28-3 overall, 13-3 RRAC) are on the road this week for six games with doubleheaders at Louisiana Christian on Tuesday, second-ranked Our Lady of the Lake on Friday, and Texas A&M-San Antonio on Saturday.
