Bio
Daniel Fisher is a dedicated student intern for the Texas A&M University-Texarkana women’s basketball team, where he plays a key role in analyzing game and practice film, scouting opponents, and assisting with player development. His keen eye for detail and commitment to enhancing team performance have made him a valuable part of the program.
Currently pursuing his B.S. in Sport Management with a minor in athletic coaching and officiating at Colorado Mesa University (CMU), Daniel is set to graduate in December 2024. During his time at CMU, he began his coaching journey by working with youth basketball teams, serving as both a head coach and an assistant coach for 5th and 6th grade boys’ teams.
A native of Aurora, Colorado, Daniel’s passion for basketball began at a young age, playing on travel teams and for his high school. His background as a player has given him a deep understanding of the game, which he now applies to his coaching and development work.
Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Daniel will join Coach Hitchcock and the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles as a graduate assistant, where he will continue his education while pursuing a master’s degree and further developing his coaching career.
