Eagles Outshoot Texas Wesleyan 3-1 in Ft. Worth

The Eagles women's soccer team traveled to Ft. Worth, Texas to take on the Rams of Texas Wesleyan and came home with a 3-1 victory. The win is the Eagles third consecutive victory to start the 2024 campaign.

The Eagles opened the scoring with a goal by Brooklyn Lattier (assist by Delani Chappell) at the 13-minute mark of the first half. The Rams would tie the match with a late first half goal of their own. The Eagles scored two more times in the second half with goals by Rylie Williams (assist by Desiree Navarez) and Abigail McGuire (unassisted).

The Eagles scored their three goals off 19 shots, while the Rams found the net only once out of 10 shots on goal. The Eagles will look to extend their winning streak to four games on Saturday, September 7th at 5:00 P.M. when they travel to Conway, Arkansas to take on Central Baptist College.
