The A&M-Texarkana volleyball team won the second match against Xavier this weekend in the conference opener series 3-1 (25-22,25-20,19-25,25-23), going 2-0 for the weekend and starting off conference play 2-0.
The Eagles were led in kills by Senior Ja'Kerra Holt tallying 10 kills in today's match. Kaitlyn Cabral (So.) added 9 kills for the Eagles and Kimberlee Joyce (Jr.) recorded 25 assists to help secure the win.
The Eagles are on a four-game win streak and move to 6-9 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
Women's Volleyball is back in action at home next weekend for two games versus the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake. Game one will be on Friday September 20th, starting at 6:00 pm, and then game two will be played on the September 21st at 11:00 am.
